Hi all ... Gene and I went out to Willow Grove (north Longview) to
see if we could find any Kites ... nope ... drove the roads, checked
out the fields, and explored the park ... not a Kite in sight
!!!!!!!!! ... ran into Tom Finn at the park and he too had found
zilch in the area (at least up until the time we were talking to him)
... after we left Tom, Gene and drove the road around one more time
... turned around and came back and just before we hit the park area
we found the Red-shouldered Hawk !!!!! ... he's GORGEOUS
!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ... first time I'd seen an adult like
that up close ...
