UPCOMING COASST TRAINING SESSIONS

COASST volunteers collect data on beach-cast carcasses of marine birds
on a monthly basis to establish the baseline pattern of bird mortality
on North Pacific beaches. Data collected helps address important
marine conservation issues and protect marine resources. Beachwalkers
and beachcombers wanted! You don't have to be a seabird expert to join!

COASST training sessions are free and open to the public; coffee and
snacks provided. New participants who choose to become COASST
volunteers and adopt a survey beach pay a $20 deposit on supplies and
materials.
