As I was passing by around 4:00 PM on Thursday, 11/10/2011, I noticed that there were six Trumpeter Swans on the North end of Capital Lake. Will go out early tomorrow morning to try and get some pics. My first time seeing that many Trumpeters at one time on Capital Lake.

Good variety and numbers of waterfowl there as well, a quick glance revealed, Buffleheads, Ring-Neck, Scaup, Mallard, American and Eurasian Widgeon, Coot (many dozens), Pied-Billed Grebe, Canada Geese.
