Dear Tweeters,

Ryan Merrill found a Snow Bunting yesterday around noon at March Point. The bird was still there at 1500 when I got there yesterday (Armistice Day).

Although I couldn't find any Rusty Blackbirds on Samish Flats, there has been a flock of about 2000 Red-winged Blackbirds near the Lutheran Church out there. At the Wood Sandpiper spot (near south end of Bay View-Edison Rd) were about 10,000 Dunlin and a Herring Gull. On Field Road, a couple of Black-bellied Plover flew by me, but I could not identify the third bird that was with them; it was most likely a Pacific Golden Plover, though, based on a quick, torque-of-the-neck look that I had.
