A few folks are dropping by today to check out the Harris's Sparrow - just
wanted to let you know that I saw it again a few minutes ago. (I just put
out a bunch of ground feed and it was partaking with the rest of the usual
crew (quail, sparrows, finches, doves, etc.). The only thing that keeps the
birds down is the local imm. Cooper's Hawk.



If you're looking to add a Harris's Sparrow to your Pierce County list, this
might be a good bet.
