HI ALL:
Just got back from the Hansville, Kitsap County, WA area trying to track
down the rare birds Brad Waggoner reported finding there yesterday. NO
luck with the Tropical Kingbird (although I did find the sparrow flock
which had White-crowned, Golden-crowned and Fox Sparrows plus Dark-eyed
Juncos). Stopped by Norwegian Point Park in Hansville and found 3
Black-bellied Plovers (a good spot for them in Kitsap County). Then I
headed to Pt. No. Pt.. DIDN'T find the Cliff Swallows or any Ancient
Murrelets! Did have several Marbled Murrelets (usually in pairs),
Rhinoceros Auklets, Pigeon Guillemots and Common Murres. Also had 1-2
Heermann's Gulls and several Bonaparte's Gulls, along with the usual
marine birds found at the Point this time of year.

sincerely
