Subject: [Tweeters] White-throated X White-crowned hybrid sparrow in Aberdeen

Hi Tweeters,

My wife and I spent the weekend in Aberdeen visiting friends. After
breakfast I got a photo of a White-throated X White-crowned Sparrow hybrid
on the feeder outside the kitchen window. The sparrow has yellow lores but
the white on the throat is quite minimal and outlined in black. The bill
is pale like a White-crowned Sparrow. The back and wings are also more
like a WCSP. It is an interesting bird.

I put a photo of this hybrid sparrow in the new photos folder on my website:

Other new photos include rockpipers on the Point Brown Jetty, and coyotes
at Ridgefield NWR.
