Hello Tweeters,
I took advantage of a beautiful fall day and headed to Nisqually NWR.
Here are some highlights:
A Peregrine Falcon eating what I think was a Dunlin on a snag by the dike south of the Twin Barns.
1 Juv Northern Shrike
Dozen or so Western Meadowlarks
Great Egret and American Bittern flyby.
3 Greater Yellowlegs
75-100 Dunlin
1 Snow Goose with the Cacklers
It is always great to hear the geese get up as the Bald Eagles flush them. There is alot of waterfowl at the refuge now.
A good day.
