Bob Whitney and I returned to Bayview/Edison Road and found a very large flock of Dunlin being hunted by a Peregrine and N. Harrier at the same location next to the road as the year before last. The Peregrine was successful, the harrier was not. We shot some stills and I took a short iPhone video of the "murmuration" of Dunlin if you want to check it out at:

This was about 10am with a 9am high tide. We left shortly for a look at the luecistic Red-tailed Hawk that Bob should be communicating about by separate email and we returned about 1:30pm. We were told the Dunlin had left an hour earlier. With the size of this flock, I presume they'll be around and hunted for quite a while.
