Tweeters,

To sorta celebrate hitting 120 species (after a recount) at our place in Roy
since we moved here, I decided try to count what I saw, it being a
relatively mild, almost precipitation-free day thus far. Including the pair
of GREAT HORNED OWLS last night, there were 38 species. It was a lackluster
day for ducks, but a surprise was two VARIED THRUSHES that were calling from
near the apple tree down by the wetland. The SWAMP SPARROW and HARRIS'S
SPARROW remain on site.
