Yesterday, I was at Kah Tai Lagoon in Pt Townsend, and was surprised to see
winter plumage male ruddy ducks, and female ruddy ducks.

I had not looked for birds there for a long time

There were the usual birds-: coots, mallards, buffleheads, female hooded
merganser, widgeons, lesser yellow legs. and several that were to far away
to identify.
