Dear Tweeters,

We might be having a finch invasion. Yesterday, November 18, a female COMMON REDPOLL spent the early morning at my feeder near Lyman. That was the first time I'd seen one in my yard.

This morning I got up early to check for the Redpoll, and didn't see it, at least not up to about 8:30. However, a lone male CASSIN'S FINCH made a brief appearance instead! This is only the second time I've seen one in my yard, the previous time being May 2-3 of this year.
