Tweets,

Today at least three, possibly four, and maybe more, Snowy Owls hung
around Dungeness and 3 Crabs. One bird sat very cooperatively in the
early afternoon on a Dungeness rooftop along Marine Drive near Twin
View Drive for lots to see. At least two others hung out on
Dungeness Spit, viewed by Charlie Wright, Ryan Merrill, and Ryan Shaw
at the same time we spotted the Marine Drive bird. I received
another report of one sitting on a rooftop later in the afternoon
along 3 Crabs Rd about 0.7 miles east of 3 Crabs Restaurant, almost
two miles from the bird on Marine Dr.

The record Sequim-Dungeness CBC Snowy Owl count was in 1996 when we
tallied 13, of which 11 were on Dungeness Spit, so we have a ways to
go. But maybe there are more here already and we haven't found them
yet.

Boy, these Snowy Owls sure are easy! They sit up so nice in full
view; everyone gets a great look and great photos.
