Already a very exciting winter bird season underway. For two days now I've
seen Common Redpolls at my feeders! Also a Northern Goshawk made an exciting
pass by the dining room window and a Northern Shrike has been spending time
here.



Rough-legged Hawks and Red-tails and lots of Bald Eagles around as well.



Saw 7 swans a swimming on Patterson Lake yesterday. Someone with better
skills than me said they are Trumpeters.
