? Haven't seen this mentioned today...To get a better (much,much closer) view of the Tholme Road?Snowy Owl, go to Eide Road instead and drive out it till itends at a parking area. Park there and walk further down the road just passed the plies of plastic wrapped rocks used for construction work?(you'll know what?I mean when you see them) on your left side. Go up on top of the dirt dike mound and the owl is just across the water on the dike on the other side. From here you will see the bird quite easy without the use of a scope. In fact you can see it?quite well with?the naked eye?so? bino will work fine. About a half dozen Short -Eared owls as well.

Of course, you do need the Washington Access Pass to go to Eide Road...but we all should have one of those, right? (can be bought online )
