Barry Woodruff, Steve Carlson and I headed to Ocean Shores today for some birding. We saw the female KING EIDER behind the sewage treatment plant, one SNOWY OWL on Point Damon, ROCK SANDPIPER and SURFBIRDS on the Point Brown Jetty. While at the Jetty we talked to Dan Reiff (SP?) who had two more SNOWY OWLS on the beach between the jetty and the Taurus Road beach access. There were deer everywhere in town today including numerous bucks showing signs of being in rut. Wilson Cady
