Two Snowies and 5-6 Short-eared Owls were seen this afternoon at the end of Eide Road. While the optics of my binoculars were good enough to enjoy the closer Snowy, it was still far enough out that my camera could only give me a bright white blob. :) The Short-eared Owls were very active from 2:45 to 3:15 while I was there - working fields on both sides of the Stilliguamish.

Will see if I can check on the Renton Owl report tomorrow, but I also plan to be looking at some turkeys tomorrow. If I can locate them, I'll be sure to post!
