Regarding the La Conner wild turkeys that were mentioned, they were declared a nusiance by a few outspoken townspeople, most of them thrown out of the town, where they landed at Precious Life Animal Sanctuary in Sequim in Aug. of '09. It's a small shelter with mainly farm animals and they're barely getting by so if anyone is inclined to help, they could sure use it.
