Thanks to Denny Van Horn's 105 mm telescope and good eyes we saw 4 Snowy Owls out on the spit from the bluff on Marine Drive between Oysterhouse County Park and Cline Spit Park on Friday. They showed as white spots with the normal 60 power scope and my 600mm lens. He reported 6 from the day before with one on a rooftop at the end of 3 Crabs Rd. and another flying in front of his vehicle on Marine Drive.
