Subject: [Tweeters] Ocean Shores Snowy Owl

My wife and I made a trip to Ocean Shores today to see if I could photograph
a Snowy Owl. The tide was too high to drive the beach so we walked in at
Driftwood Road. Suprisingly, we didn't run into any birders. After walking
about half way up the beach toward Taurus, we peeked over the dunes and
found a nice Juvenile Snowy Owl sitting on a low piece of driftwood. We
watched for several mintues and I got some decent pictures. Sad I missed
the Emperor Goose, but I've been obsessing about finding and photographing a
Snowy Owl for a couple years, so it was a great day.
