Subject: [Tweeters] Lowland Snoho Co. Pine Grosbeak

Hello all,

Just 20 minutes ago, while outside in the back yard (in Brier), a calling
Pine Grosbeak made a short but vocal visit to my neighborhood. The bird
sat atop a medium-sized Doug Fir while it vocalized about 8 times, giving
its short yet complex, ascending "location call" (belting out
2-3 syllables so quickly it sounds as a continuous utterance). I then
watched the large finch fly off to the west.

What I heard sounded a lot like the 3rd call in this cut:

Goes to show there's always a good excuse to go scrub all that slimy algae
off the deck. Happy holidays!
