Tweets, We've had Eur. Collared Doves in/around Tenino regularly for maybe
two years. Yesterday I was surprised to count over 30 plus about 10 Mourning
Doves at/near feeders about a block south of Tenino High School baseball
field. For a change of scenery I headed to the Centralia steam plant in
search of my FOY kites and Lincoln's Sparrows (believe it or not!). My first
stop, the fields traversed by the long north-south section of Big Hanaford
Rd E of the steam plant, yielded 8-10 L's Sparrows responding to pishing. I
could not find any kites. Good birding!
