I was driving by Capitol lake on wed Oct 5 saw a swan way out on the
south end. I went by on the 11th found it sitting on a log near shore,
Is a Mute Swan.
Lots of Cackling geese and Wigeons on the lake, a few Cormorants and a
Pied Billed Grebe. On Saturday morning I spotted a Cackling goose with a
white spotted head and neck.
