Just wanted to report that a bald eagle was sitting on the sculptures
just off the Arboretum on Friday afternoon.

As most of you know, "Eddy" the eagle was hit and killed by Metro Bus
this past summer. His partner, who he shared a nest with over near the
golf course at Broadmoor, seemed to vacate after his death. I didn't
see any eagle out there during the summer.

It was tough to tell what sex the eagle was. Hopefully we will see more
of them. Just hope they stay clear of the buses.
