Subject: [Tweeters] White-throated Sparrow in Yakima

Hi Tweeters,

There was a White-throated Sparrow at the Yakima Area Arboretum bird feeding
station this afternoon, along with a Slate-colored Junco.

We have a new bird blind at the feeding station. A Boy Scout named Josh
Latimer coordinated the building of the blind for his Eagle Scout project.
A photo of the blind can be seen on the BirdYak website:

Photos of the White-throated Sparrow and Slate-colored Junco can be seen in
the new photos folder on my website:

Directions to the bird blind are in the "Birder's Guide to Washington" on
page 315. The blind is at the north end of the cottonwoods at the northeast
corner of the Yakima Area Arboretum property. We will have signs in the
arboretum pointing the way to the blind in a new months.
