Coming back from the Okanogan today, we went through Concunully past Salmon
Meadows in hope of a Spruce Grouse. Struck out there but in going over Lone
Frank Pass, a flock of 50-75 Grey-crowned Rosy Finches landed in the rocks
on the side of the road just to the west of the pass. Got some beautiful
views at about 10 meters. Not what I was expecting to see.
