This morning I looked out the window at the right moment and enjoyed watching two juvie Cooper's Hawks fly up the lane from the Sound, and over our yard. The other birds in the vicinity (crows, starlings, etc.) made it easy to get a good size comparison, and the morning sun made their markings easy to see, as they were relatively low. A treat -- we occasionally see them in the neighborhood, but first time seeing two flying together (within 20 feet, going same direction).
