You can also try the US Fish and Wildlife Service's online feather atlas. It
has a feather ID tool you might try. For those of you who are not familiar
with this site, the entire site deals with the identification of single
feathers and includes an easy to use tool that will walk you the ID. It it
limited to wing and tail feathers but does include most US species.
