To me, the bird looks like a Merlin. The more delicate features (beak size)
and light brow line suggest Merlin to me. The facial markings seem atypical
for Merlin and more suggestive of a Peregrine.



I think we need Bud Anderson or someone else who has seen and handled lots
of falcons to weigh in.
