Tweeters,

I visited Ridgefield NWR this morning and did some shorebirding at Rest
Lake:

Semipalmated Sandpiper 1
Solitary Sandpiper 1 (flew over calling but never landed)
Black-bellied Plover 1 (rarish bird in Clark County)
Pectoral Sandpiper 6
Greater Yellowlegs 77
loads of Western Sandpipers and Least Sands

The continuing Snowy Egret was still with the Great Egrets and Great Blue
Herons in the receding ponds on Rest Lake.

A flock of 19 Greater White-fronted Geese flew over with attendant Northern
Pintails.

Keep your eyes and ears....skyward.

Jim
