Spent Saturday birding Grant County for shorebirds and migrants and Sunday at Washtucna and Lyons Ferry Park. Had a good two days of birding. Nothing rare, but many nice highlights. Below is a summary:

Saturday: 15 species of shorebird; 14 in Grant County
Many Baird's sandpiper everywhere. Banks lake has lots of good shoreline, but only shorebirds to be found were along the southern shore, both at the Coulee City marina and the WDFW access on the west side of the lake. County line ponds near Othello has a nice amount of mud with good numbers of shorebirds.
Stilt Sandpiper- 1 each at Coulee City STP and Lind Coulee
Semi-palmated Plover-1 immature County line ponds
Semi-palmated Sandpiper: 4 Perch Pt; 1 Migraine Lake (Columbia NWR); 5-County Line Ponds
Solitary Sandpiper-1 Lind Coulee
Pectoral Sandpiper-3 Lind Coulee
Red-necked Phalarope-41 at Migraine Lake; 3 County Line Ponds

Potholes:
1 immature Sabine's gull; 3 Common tern

Odd assortment of migrants at Summer Falls Park including a family group of Lazuli Buntings (4) and an early Fox Sparrow (Sooty)

Sunday:

Washtucna: (everything but shorebirds at Bassett Park)
2 American Redstart (previously reported)
1 Hairy Woodpecker (found by Ryan Shaw)
1 Least Flycatcher
1 adult Clay-colored Sparrow
1 Gray Catbird
1 Lewis's Woodpecker
good numbers of Wilson's warbler, Warbling Vireo; 2 Nashville Warbler; 6 Orange-crowned
Hammond's, Dusky, Western Flycatcher
3-4 Solitary Sandpiper (most at STP, one briefly at creek in Bassett Park)
2 Townsend's Solitaire

Lyon's Ferry:
1 Least Flycatcher
5 immature Chipping Sparrow
large numbers of Wilson's Warbler (40+)
large numbers of Western-wood pewee (25+)
3 MacGillivray's Warbler
6 Townsend's Warbler
