My travel schedule allowed us to make it into Eastern Washington this
weekend. As is normal, my sharp-eyed wife found the best bird of the trip.
She spotted two RED-NECKED PHALAROPE in the northern most lagoon of the Mesa
STP near the junction of 17 and US-395.
