Quite a coincidence that "Birds & Beers" was just mentioned, as just today I was finalizing plans for something similar in Seattle...


Zugunruhe Birding Tours will be sponsoring an "Aves and Ales"* event at 6 PM on Tuesday, Sep 20 at Zeeks Pizza's Ravenna location (2108 65th St. NE; http://bit.ly/hLaMRd).

This is your chance to meet with other birders in an informal gathering and talk about birds, beers, or whatever. Zugunruhe Birding Tours will provide the pizza (supplies are limited). Beer (ales AND lagers) and other beverages are available for purchase. I've been trying to get a local didgeridoo player to provide entertainment, but so far Adam S. has declined the invitation -- if you see him, tell him he needs to rethink his decision.

While not absolutely necessary, if possible please RSVP privately to this email address if you plan on coming so we have some idea of how much pizza and space we'll need.
