Yesterday afternoon and today several birders looked for the Skagit Game Range NORTHERN MOCKINGBIRD. To my knowledge, noone found the bird. That doesn't mean it's not there. Mockers sometimes stay in the same area for an extended period.

Dear Tweeters,

Marv Breece phoned me to say that a man showed him a photo that he wanted Marv to ID for him. The guy had taken a picture of a Northern Mockingbird at the Game Range today (Labor Day), but had no idea what it was. Marv said the guy told him that he'd photographed the bird a short walk from the HQ parking area, I guess along the first leg of the walk out to the ponds.
