>From the 1:40 Edmonds ferry I saw a med size all black bird flying north. Strong flyer means no Alcid; all black means not Black Tern or Leach's Storm Petrel. Too small for Heerman's Gull. Too strong flight & kinked wings for Leach's . Black only possibility. I am very familiar with Black Storm Perrel from Monterey Bay. I know they don't occur here.
