Spent part of the day birding, much of it with Ryan Merrill, as we bumped into each other at the Game Range on Fir Island. Very slow on passerines all day. Here are some of the highlights:

Game Range:
1 Semipalmated Plover
8 Pectoral Sandpiper
1 Green Heron

Channel Drive (La Conner):
3 Stilt Sandpipers
1 Baird's Sandpiper

March Point Rd. (NE side along gravel parking area):
3 Sanderlings continue

I heard a second hand report of a recent Great Egret seen at Hayton Preserve on Fir Island. Worth keeping in mind if in the area....
