I subscribe to the Shoreline News online and just read that this pond will be emptied, defished and dredged beginning Sept. 9. I know there are Tweeters out there that bird this park regularly and am wondering...WHY? I'm sure in some cases dredging is necessary to remove built up sediment but is this the case here? What would happen if they didn't dredge?
