I don't know about the rest of you, but the more I walk the fields and watch the feeders, the more I come up with what should be common birds that just don't seem to meet the patterns I'm used to. Check out what look like female Goldfinches (juvvies?) from our backyard feeder that don't look like any I've seen before. Maybe we just haven't lived in the NW long enough. Comments?
