Het tweets,
Adding to my earlier report from Adams county ...

Identified the elusive Matt Bartels at Wastucna, Basset park, at dawn. We birded together thru the morning. Nothing spectacular. Lots of Hammonds flycatchers, a couple pacific slope, and one Dusky. Few warblers and vireos. But had both red napped sapsucker and hairy woodpecker. Both. Good county birds.
And an un-identified flycathcher that baffled us. Grrrr...

Lyons ferry was slow, except for bumping into the Denny's and 5 BN Stilts.

Another good Adams county shorebird stop -
Near ( just south) of MP 26 on highway 17, south of Othello
Small pond/flooded area east of road.
3 greater yellowlegs
Lesser yellowlegs
Spotted sandpiper
Solitary sandpiper
Wilson snipe 2
Blue winged teal and mallards

Great comparative views of all the shorebirds ...

Also had solitary and bairds at Washtucna Stp.

BCN Heron at Para ponds, and Least sandpiper and more greater yellowlegs.

County line ponds. bairds(2), least(6), and Stilt(1) Sandpipers. LB Dowithchers (3) Lots of teal.

Peregrine falcon stirred up Lind Coulee before I could look at the shorebirds ... But saw some pectoral with a flock of peeps (mostly western)

I covered some ground today. Drove while it was hot !

No Phalaropes, even though I was looking hard ....
