Hello, this is the Audubon Society of Portland Rare Bird Report. This report
was made Thursday September 15. If you have anything to add call Harry Nehls

An immature or female DICKCISSEL was photographed September 10 at the
Nestucca NWR. An immature BLUE GROSBEAK was reported September 9 at Cutler
City. On September 12 a female HOODED WARBLER was at Cold Springs Campground
near Sisters. A NORTHERN WATERTHRUSH and a NORTHERN PARULA were seen
September 10 at Lake Abert. On September 11 a REDSTART and a BLACK-AND-WHITE
WARBLER were at Fields.

A very heavy night movement of SWAINSON?S THRUSHES passing southward over
the Coast Range was reported September 11. An offshore boat trip out of
Newport September 10 found an XANTUS?S MURRELET, four SKUAS, and all three
jaegers among the many birds encountered. A male RUFF was seen during the
week along Wireless Road in Astoria.

A good flycatcher movement on Sauvie Island September 10 included a GRAY
FLYTCATCHER. On September 14 a CALLIOPE HUMMINGBIRD was in Gresham. A
SANDERLING was at the Fernhill Wetlands September 13. Two HORNED GREBES were
there the next day.

On September 9 a NORTHERN WATERTHRUSH was at Willow Pond west of Terrebonne.
A SABINE?S GULL and four COMMON TERNS were at Wickiup Reservoir September
10. On September 8 a STILT SANDPIPER was near Imbler.
