Hello Tweeters,

I recently moved from Sequim WA and started a new yard list. Yesterday I added my first warbler to the yard list, an imm AMERICAN REDSTART.

Here is the rest of my yard list after one week;

Gray Catbird
Chimney Swift
Red Bellied Woodpecker
Eastern Blue Jay
Black-capped Chickadee
Northern Cardinal
Tufted Titmouse
House Wren
House Finch
Yellow-shafted Flicker
White-breasted Nuthatch
Turkey Vulture
Red-tailed Hawk
Cooper's Hawk

Clearly, my new yard is not in Washington State. After nearly 20 years in the Pacific Northwest I have returned with my family to the Philadelphia area to be closer to the rest of our family. I ended up with a WA life list of 383 birds. I like to think that I accumulated a similar list of birding friends while I was there. In recent years I have spent more time riding my bike than birding, as Ineeded to work off the extra weight that I gained eating miscellaneous pork products while on my many birding excursions from one end of the state to another.

If anyone finds their way to the Philadelphia area, look me up and I can take you out to a local birding spot or on a long bike ride through the Amish Farm Lands of Southeastern Pennsylvania, or both.
