Subject: [Tweeters] FOS American Wigeons

Saw my first of the winter season American Wigeons on Lake Lorene, Treasure
Island Park in Twin Lakes this morning. Out of a total of 29, two were males
in somewhat complete breeding plumage. The others appeared to be all
females, unless some of them are still molting. A Pied-billed Grebe was
hanging out with them and seemed to enjoy the company - like "Where have you
guys been all summer?".
