Hi again,

I forgot to mention that there were about 25 Red-necked Phalaropes in 3 flocks flying south yesterday (9/15/2011). One flock had a slightly larger bird that I would've liked to have had a better look at. It might've been a Red Phalarope...or not. Further out, there were some phalaropes floating north with the current, too far out to ID. Most of the time they were hidden by waves.
