Two weeks ago in Anderson Lake State Park south of Port Townsend I photographed what is probably a juvenile Osprey who hadn't figured out the Osprey method of carrying fish yet. Any info on how they learn this or does it just com naturally with practice? Might be of interest to some of you. I also included one of the Osprey picking up floating algae it had shuffled up from the bottom with its talons at Ding Darling NWR in Florida.
