My?friend Brian and I went down to Commencement Bay to look for the Black-tailed Gull and my shots are on my blog:

If these shots are any good at all it's because of a great camera accessory that Brian thoughtfully brought along--a 17 ft. canoe. Canoe should always be positioned below the camera.
