I just tried to add it (Italian Sparrow) to my eBird list there, but they still haven't added that choice to the Italy list. The only time I got down to Italy was a day trip bus ride from Garmisch via Merano, Bolzano and Brenner Pass. Although I wasn't on a bird outing, I kept an eye out for new species. But that was September 22nd, 1972, and a bad time of year for birding.
