Subject: [Tweeters] Trumpeter Swans on Long Lake

This morning we have a pair of Trumpeter Swans here on Long Lake in Lacey--not the controversial Mute Swans that we've had before--and each one has a rather large collar at the base of the neck. They give the impression that someone (?at DFW?) caught them, marked them for study, and then dropped them off here. Does anyone know anything about this?
