hi all ... Gene and I spent a few hours at Mount Hood (Timberline
Lodge area) on tuesday ... beautiful weather to hike around and not
many humans at all !!!! ... perfect day ... saw 3 raptor species ...
Red-tail and Cooper's Hawk and the Prairie Falcon (new bird for me
!!!) ... lots of Clark's Nutcrackers and Common Ravens too ...
little-bird-wise there were mostly Juncos and Cassin's Finches and
Yellow-rumps ... and quite a few Ruby-crowned Kinglets too ...
got up-close to a Nutcracker !!!!!!!!!!!
