Hi

I'm always happy to recieve turkey vulture reports. As I've posted
over the years, the majority of the large flights over the Strait of
Juan de Fuca are late in September (the last week) and the first week
in October. That is from numbers seen during the several years that
we did daily reports from Salt Creek. After these passing, large
flight were often reported over Seattle and the surrounding areas.
Why this year is different, I have no idea. The reports that I have
received so far this month have been mostly singles. Let's hope that
later this week and early next month the numbers will increase.
