Hi Folks:

An interesting question; BBSA's are showing up in record numbers in Europe!

Subject: [Tweeters] Where are the Buff-breasted Sandpipers?

I'm starting to be concerned about the fact that we have not had ANY reports
in OR or WA of Buff-breasted Sandpiper this fall. While never common, there
usually are a few birds reported here and there each fall. Looks like there
was one report from Delta, BC from Sep 3. I didn't check CA yet.

Does anybody know anything about their breeding success this summer? Or
otherwise know any details on why so few are seen this fall?
